ICU Nurse

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced ICU Nurses to deliver high-acuity patient care in partner hospitals nationwide. In this role, you'll monitor and manage critically ill adults, operate advanced life-support equipment, administer IV medications and drips, and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions. You will collaborate closely with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based protocols, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care to ICU patients, including continuous monitoring and assessment
• Manage ventilators, drips, and other advanced life-support equipment
• Administer medications, blood products, and treatments per provider orders and protocols
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards in critical care settings
• Participate in handoff reports and care coordination across shifts and units
• Adapt to new hospital environments and workflows as a travel/contract nurse
