Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a pediatric or emergency room setting preferred
• Familiarity with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare teams, children, and their families

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary caregiver for young patients needing urgent medical attention
• Provide treatment for pediatric patients experiencing trauma, injury, or critical medical conditions
• Rapidly assess patient needs and prioritize care efficiently
• Monitor patient health, administer medications, and ensure medical equipment is operational
• Participate in emergency situations, including code blue responses
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare colleagues to create and implement personalized care plans, determining the necessity for discharge or extended hospital stays
• Educate patients and their families about conditions and care plans for effective understanding and compliance

Salary range: $61,470 to $130,000/year
