The Investigator, Operations Philippines assists the Director, Investigation in managing and implementing investigative cases. This role involves performing discreet investigations, gathering intelligence on staff activities, and maintaining external intelligence sources. The position requires familiarity with investigative processes and the ability to work flexible hours.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Investigation the Investigator, Operations Philippines is responsible for assisting in the operation and implementation of investigative cases as directed by the Director, Investigation.
Perform executive protection duties under instructions of the Vice President, Corporate Risk & Investigation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs discreet investigations as directed by the Director, Investigation.
- Provides weekly or incident specific intelligence reports to the Director, Investigation.
- Generates and maintains external intelligence sources and reports findings to the Investigations Management.
- Assists the Director, Investigation in gathering intelligence on staff activities on and off duty.
- Performs other reasonable duties assigned by the Investigation Analyst or Management.
- Training and personal development.
- Participates in any training programs offered to the Investigation division.
- Keeps up-to-date with department and company policies and procedure.
- Effectively manages and maintains own quality of work performance.
- Actively participates in regular performance improvement reviews.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Assists in tracking and monitoring parties of interest.
- Reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Statutory regulations are complied with.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Sufficient familiarity with Investigative process.
Education
- Tertiary education is preferred but not essential.
Skills / Competencies
- Reads, writes, speaks and understands English.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
- Understanding of public source references and the ability to obtain information through a number of different means.
