Interpreter And Cultural Mediator - Arabic/Kurdish/EN - Cyprus

At Seprotec, we are continuing to expand our network of professionals and are looking for an interpreter and cultural mediator with the language combination Arabic Kurdish, with English, for an on-site position in Cyprus.

The position will take place from 9 to 16 October 2026 and is related to migration and asylum contexts. Therefore, we are looking for candidates with experience in interpreting and cultural mediation, particularly in social, humanitarian, asylum, migration, or community settings.

It is essential that applicants reside in Cyprus or are available to relocate and remain in the country for the duration of the position.

Minimum Requirements

- Native or near-native proficiency (C1/C2) in Arabic and Kurdish.
- Strong English communication skills (B2 level).
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in interpreting or cultural mediation, preferably in social, humanitarian, asylum, migration, or community settings.
- Currently working as a freelance interpreter or cultural mediator.
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
- Valid right to work in Cyprus.
- Based in Cyprus or available to relocate for the duration of the position.
